GATE Information Night for Tynes

GATE Information Night for Tynes- Our district had a meeting two weeks ago to explain our Gifted and
Talented Education Program (GATE) and let parents know of the opportunities they have for their child once
they have qualified for GATE. Students may stay at their home school in a cluster program or come to the
Magnet school where all students in the class are GATE identified. Tynes is one of the 3 schools in the district
with the GATE Magnet program. Tonight is our Tynes Magnet presentation to inform parents of how our
program works and what to expect if your child is identified as a GATE student. All three of our
